Are Jason Kelce and Stevie Nicks recording a Christmas duet together?
The former NFL star posed with the “Dreams” singer in what appeared to be a music studio in a photo shared by his “New Heights” podcast Oct. 2 on X.
Kelce donned a Christmas sweater in the snap, which also featured microphones, a silver Christmas tree and keyboards in its background.
Nicks was dressed in a signature black ensemble.
The photo’s caption hinted that the pair have recorded a holiday duet together. “The crossover we didn’t know we needed. Coming soon to a Christmas album near you,” it read. The caption also included emoji of eyeballs and a Christmas tree.
Kelce, who retired from the NFL in March after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, has made it a holiday tradition to team up with teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson to release a Christmas album.
The group calls themselves the Philly Specials.
Last year’s holiday album featured guests like Patti LaBelle, Jordan Davis and Kelce’s brother and “New Heights” co-host, Travis Kelce.
Jason Kelce likely didn’t have to look far this year to find Nicks’ contact info. She’s pals with Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Swift performed a duet with Nicks at the 2010 Grammy Awards and name-checks her on the song “Clara Bow” from her 2024 “The Tortured Poets Department” album.
Travis Kelce opened up on “New Heights” in July about how excited he was to meet Nicks at an “Eras Tour” concert in Dublin.
“You might be the only one in the family who hasn’t met her yet. Mom got to meet her down in Florida,” he told his brother of a previous encounter between the Fleetwood Mac singer and their mother, Donna Kelce.
He added, “I mean, she’s every bit of what everyone makes her out to be. She’s just so awesome.”
At the concert, Swift dedicated “Clara Bow” to Nicks, whom she called a “friend” and a “hero.”
“A friend of mine is here watching the show, who has really been one of the reasons why I, or any female artist, get to do what we get to do,” Swift said, according to fan footage from the concert shared on social media.
Swift went on to praise Nicks for being a “guiding hand” to female artists throughout her career, adding, “I can’t tell you how rare that is.”
“She’s a hero of mine and also someone that I could tell her any secret and she’d never tell anybody. She’s really helped me through so much over the years,” said Swift.
