If arm wrestling ever becomes an Olympic sport, Jason Kelce may have a future in it.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles star arm wrestled Team USA rugby player Nicole Heavirland in a video she shared July 28 on her Instagram page.

“@jason.kelce holding on to that table a little bit?” she captioned the clip.

“Holding onto something with your off hand is completely within the rules of the International federation of Arm Wrestling,” Jason Kelce replied in the comments.

In the video, the pair grapple hard for several seconds before Jason Kelce, sporting a French beret, finally pins her, prompting him to raise his arms in triumph, as the crowd watching cheers. They then shake hands and embrace.

Jason Kelce is a supporter of the women’s rugby team. He appeared in another Instagram video with team member Ilona Maher, who asked him about him following the squad.

“Women’s water polo has Flavor Flav as their super fan,” she said, alluding to the rapper’s love of that team. “And you are a girl dad. Do you get anything from being our super fan? No. There’s no money, no benefits.”

“I am officially a fan, women’s rugby, Olympics” he said.

“We got Jason Kelce,” Maher said, sparking cheers from others in the room with them.

Time will tell if Jason Kelce brings the women’s rugby team luck when the U.S. squares off with France in pool play on July 29 at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Jason Kelce has already showed his support for Team USA at the Paris Olympics while leaning into the City of Light’s fashion.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center and his wife, Kylie Kelce, attended the U.S. women’s field hockey team’s opening game Saturday, July 27, against Argentina.

The U.S. team, which is made up of all Olympic rookies per NBC Olympics, lost to Argentina 4-1 in the matchup. They next play Monday, July 29, against Spain.

At the Olympic event, Jason and Kylie Kelce were photographed in the stands donning their red, white and blue attire.

The retired NFL star wore a navy blue sweatshirt with “USA” written on the chest paired with a matching blue beret, which he told the Associated Press was from a souvenir shop.

Kylie Kelce opted for a white jacket with blue and red stripes on the sleeves over a T-shirt and a pair of jeans.

The official X for USA Field Hockey posted several snaps of the couple at the event, including a group shot posing with the team.

After the game, the couple spoke to AP about the opportunity to go to the Summer Olympics, which has historically coincided with NFL training camp.

“When we found out that we were going to have an opportunity to go to this, the more we thought about it, we were like, ‘Let’s take advantage of it now that we can actually do it,’” he said. “We love sports, we love competition, we love world events.”

The “New Heights” podcast co-host added, “This is such a unique place where the entire world gets to come together and bond over competition and sports.”

Kylie Kelce, who played field hockey in college and continues to coach the sport, said that she “always wanted to come and see” the Olympic Games.

“When they qualified to come to Paris, I was like, that kind of makes sense. And then when I got to sit down with Ashley and Kelee, it was kind of a no-brainer,” she said, referring to Ashley Sessa and Kelee Lepage on the U.S. women’s field hockey team.

In March, Kylie Kelce shared the field with Lepage and Sessa in a video on TikTok as part of her series, “Places Kylie Has No Business Being.” (Other examples include being a guest on TODAY.)

Kylie Kelce reflected on the video she made with Lepage and Sessa, explaining, “It was just really cool to sit down and talk with them about what this means to them, how they’ve looked forward to it and what it took for them get here, and it’s so amazing to see them on this stage.

“It’s just sort of this full-circle moment of I feel like the field hockey community really bands together,” she added. “No matter what level you’re playing, you can appreciate what this is.”
