Jordyn Woods Wishes Boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns Happy 29th Birthday: ‘The Light of My Life’

Jordyn Woods celebrated boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns’ 29th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday, Nov. 15. 

The pair commemorated the event by having dinner together the night before. The model, 27, posted a video to her Instagram Stories of the NBA player, nicknamed KAT, smiling with his eyes closed while making a birthday wish. Drake’s “Ratchet Happy Birthday” song played in the background.

Woods captioned the photo “candles at 12,” seemingly counting down to his official birthday.

The model posted three more photos of her and the Knicks player from over the years. Another was captioned, “here’s to you @karltowns another 365.”

The socialite also shared a slideshow of the pair lovingly embracing.

“happy birthday to the light of my life ❤️ I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else,” Woods wrote.

Towns reposted two of his model girlfriend’s photos celebrating his 29th birthday to his own Instagram Stories.

Woods and Towns began dating in May of 2020 after years of building a foundation as close friends. 

“I think it’s kind of cool dating your best friend,” Woods said on her Instagram series Regular-ish. “We know each other. We know each other’s hearts. We know each other on good days and bad days and we’ve been through a lot of bad days together.”

The basketball star even shared his first kiss with Woods wasn’t until 2020, “There was never a kiss or anything,” he revealed.

They made their relationship public in Sept. 2020 and celebrated their 4-year anniversary together in May. Woods even wrote a song for Towns titled, “Be with You.”

In the chorus, Woods sang, “Cause all I want to do is be with you, be with you, be with you.”
