A man is sought after someone was “slashed and stabbed” after exiting a streetcar in the west end last month.

Toronto Police said officers responded on June 16 at 5:55 a.m. for a stabbing in the Dundas St. W.-Bloor St. W. area.
Police said the victim exited a streetcar and was followed by a male who then pulled a knife and allegedly “slashed and stabbed the victim before taking the victim’s cellphone” and fleeing the area on foot.
The victim was taken to a trauma centre, treated and released.
The accused is described as 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10 with brown hair. He was wearing a blue ball cap, glasses, a black hoodie, red T-shirt, blue jeans and black and white runners. He was wearing a large tattoo on his left forearm.

MAN SOUGHT IN SEX ASSAULT PROBES
Police are looking for a man accused of back-to-back sexual assaults against women on Monday afternoon.
Toronto Police said officers responded at 12:45 p.m. to a call for a sexual assault in the Yorkville Ave.-Yonge St. area.
The victim was walking in the area with another female when she saw the accused allegedly harassing an unknown female. The victim intervened and told the suspect to stop, at which point the accused engaged the victim and “told her he liked her” before allegedly sexually assaulting her.
At that point, the victim struck the suspect and he left the area, police said.
About an hour later, at 1:42 p.m., police responded to a call for a sexual assault at Union Station.

The victim was walking between the subway and train station when the accused approached her and allegedly sexually assaulted her before leaving the area.
Police said the same suspect is allegedly responsible for both sexual assaults.
The man is about 40 years old with facial hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
